What others are saying.....
"This book is full of easy ideas to encourage kids to get outside. It is written simply so my young reader (6yo) had no trouble paging through the ideas. I like that this book encourages the kids to do (most) the activities on their own.
Most of the activities my 3yo shouldn't have any issue tagging along to either. Although the book is designed for ages 6-9, I definitely think younger can join in, but will need guidance on most activities. Ages 6-9 should be able to read and execute most ideas on their own (with the exception of a few that are designated as parental guidance recommended).
I love that many can be done on a trail or right in our backyard. We are looking forward to using this keeping this book with us on our adventures! Great gift idea for parents or kids!"

"I absolutely love this book! I have 3 boys ages 4-9 and there are so many ideas to implement on our adventures. I love that there are ideas to get the kids involved in planning and prepping for the adventure, anytime they have had ownership of some aspect it always makes it more enjoyable.
The great thing about these activities is that they are general ideas that can be used over and over yet a small change can make it a new game. My older boys are also great in taking something geared for them and bringing it down to the level of my youngest one so he can enjoy it too. This will be a book that is put in my pack to reference before we take off on our adventures.
Some of these activities also help reinforce some of the things that they have learned in school, any time we can take what they have learned in a book and bring it to life makes it makes it more desirable to learn and to keep going."
